Edit a Page's Title

Each Page can have a title. Titles are important as they help you distinguish pages in the sidebar. They are also used by Coppice's auto-linking feature to help find relationships between your pages.

Change a page's title

There are many ways of changing a page's title:

  • In the sidebar:
    1. Double click on the Page who's title you want to edit
    2. Type in the new title
    3. Hit the enter key
  • In the Page inspector:
    1. Select the Page who's title you want to edit in the sidebar or on a Canvas
    2. Click on the Title field in the Pages inspector
    3. Type in the new title
    4. Hit the enter key or navigate away from the Title field
  • On a Canvas:
    1. Hover over the Page on the Canvas who's title you want to edit
    2. When the title bar appears, double-click on the title
    3. Type in the new title
    4. Hit the enter key
